TYPES OF SWIMMING POOLS THAT WE DESIGN
Tent saunas are portable, affordable alternatives to permanent saunas that offer similar health benefits such as detoxification, stress relief, and improved circulation. They come in various options, including personal steam saunas and larger wood-fired models for group use outdoors. For good quality tents the ​prices start from £2,000 for self assembly.
The affordable sauna market is filled with flat pack saunas that have a wall thickness of appx 50mm with cladding typically T&G outside and spruce inside. For indoor saunas, the vendors push the IR saunas since these can run on a 13A socket but for outside an electric or wood fired budget heater is preferred, you would need an electrician though. For good quality DIY kits the ​prices start from £4,000 for self assembly.
Affordable outdoor saunas, including barrel and cube styles, are available from UK online suppliers. These kits typically include wood, benches, and, in some cases, heaters for self-assembly. and come in barrel or cube made of thin 50mm walls. Available with Wood Fired or Electric Heaters, good quality barrel sauna prices start from £6,000 for self assembly.
Infrared saunas use infrared heaters to emit light that your body experiences as radiant heat, rather than heating the air like a traditional sauna.​ These use ceramic or carbon heaters to emit infrared light that is absorbed by the skin, typical cabin temperatures are around 40–60 °C, lower than the 70–90 °C of traditional Finnish saunas. Small IR saunas prices start from £7,500 fully installed.
These are what the sauna purists will call a borderline proper Finnish sauna. With all necessary amenities like standard electric heaters and lighting with standard 700mm wide sauna door, these are professionally made to standard sizes on site. The sauna cladding tends to be spruce / aspen / alder that is hardwearing and the heater is suitable to throw water on it, traditional sauna prices start from £9,000 fully installed.
One step ahead of the standard traditional saunas are the fully bespoke designed saunas with glass walls, Wi-Fi heaters and LED lighting strips. Designed by experts to perfectly fit the space, these are made slat by slat on site over a bespoke frame filled with sauna insulation and covered by vapour barrier. The cladding is also premium Thermo grade and the heater has extra stones to produce plentiful steam when you want. Bespoke sauna prices start from £15,000 fully installed.
For a 100% authentic Finnish sauna experience, nothing beats a professionally installed outdoor sauna complex. Add to it a wood fired heater and you will love it forever, we can bet. You can have it as a standalone sauna, with a change room, add a cold shower or an ice bath and even a patio. Prices for these super luxury saunas out in the wild start from £25,000 fully installed and can go to in excess of £100k.
